New PhD from the Arnesen lab

Nina McTiernan from the Arnesen lab successfully completed her trial lecture and PhD defense on the 25th of November 2022. The given topic for the trial lecture was «X-chromosome inactivation in health and disease» and the PhD thesis was titled «Functional investigation of the protein N-terminal acetyltransferase NAA10 in genetic disease». The PhD project was supervised by Prof. Thomas Arnesen and co-supervised by Dr. Rasmus Ree. The Arnesen lab is grateful to Carmela Giglione (Universite Paris Saclay, France) and Pål Falnes (University of Oslo) for acting as opponents in the assessment committee.
